Beautiful Baby Props

Has anyone heard of Mamique? I recently was talking to my photographer friend and she brought up Mamique and how she has the cutest items for babies. I was intrigued and decided to look her up.

I am not inspired to make things as good looking and as well put together as she does. Mamique's items are gorgeous and her photographs of the babies wearing them are just perfect. I hope that one day I can have a shop like hers and be as successful as she is with making gorgeous baby products.

Yarn Shop and Yellow Sunshine Bohemian Beret on Etsy

Today, after work, Brandon and I ventured to the shop in Laguna Hills called "Yarn Lady". It was a crocheter and knitter's dream come true! There is so many different types of beautiful yarn it was hard to decide which type I wanted. I love those smaller type shops, however, after buying my yarn and researching it on Etsy I realized I could get better deals on Etsy. I am impatient though so I would have bought it anyways. In the future I know to buy from Etsy!

I also recently finished my Yellow Sunshine Bohemian Beret. It is almost the same as my Red Bohemian Slouchy Beret except it is yellow!

So today has been an amazing day so far and its only 10:30am! I finished my new hat which I call the "Red Bohemian Slouchy Beret". Brandon (my boyfriend) and I drove over to the park and took some pictures in the rain. I love the rain. It is nice to relax and crochet in. I also love going out in the rain and taking pictures and have fun with my boyfriend. I hope this hat takes off and people like it! Brandon and I were having fun so we decided to take some new pictures of the red scarf while we were out there. Here they are:

Lovebycc now open on Etsy

This week has been so incredibly busy. I really wanted to start my Etsy shop and I thought I'd be okay to do that so I ended up listing three items on the 10th (Sunday). I didn't realize (until someone on the forums told me) that three items is NOTHING, it is not even a shop. Here are the items:

So I started to work on more items until I got a conversation from someone. A PHOTOGRAPHER. She said that if I make her baby items, that she will get model babies and take free pictures for me (of course she is going to buy the first items so I know it isn't a scam). I was sooooo excited that I busted out my hook and yarn, got some patterns, and went to work. This is what I've been doing the last few days:






She got the first two hats yesterday and has a photo shoot on Wednesday with a baby. Hopefully she will get the other two things by then so she can use them all. I can't wait to see the photos!

In the meantime, I am working on an adorable red purse. I hope to have it done by this weekend so I can post it. I need to make a few other things. I was thinking about a hat, some fingerless gloves, and maybe another neckwarmer (but a different kind). I NEED TO MAKE MYSELF A STORE! :P (which is more than 3 items)
